Buckeye Furs Cook Out
Well it's nearing that time of year again, and it's time for us to get that celebratory cook out that went over so well last year.
For those unaware of this from last year, it's a really simple concept. Bring what ever you like to the cook out, be it cake, watermelon or burgers. We'll supply the grill, plates and utensils, all you have to do is show up and bring an "A-game" attitude (and food for all).
A few of us plan to be at one of the sites around 10:00 AM to secure it for the rest of the day. Furs are welcome to come and go as they please. Fursuits are welcome and encouraged. There may be some games provided such as frisbee football or soccer or maybe even a water balloon fight *hint hint*
Also, as a bonus, given good weather, we may just take the party down to the Short North for that month's Gallery Hop, so fursuiters be prepared.

Coming this August, there's a fun event going down again this year that has been gaining popularity through the few years it's been going on. Camp Critter as it has been dubbed is up and underway for planning and is taking in "registrations" for this year's event.

ha. the only chance i will have to be able to go is if it is guaranteed that the weather will permit. and if i put the time off to get there on time / early enough to help set up and get food going since the last time i sort of waited until everyone was there to fire up the food.
i'd love to cook again for everyone again this year. i loved doing it last year and would DEFINITELY look forward to it again this year. however, Walmart isnt as forgiving with giving their employees time off like they should be. so my chances are really slim. if i am unable to make it, i'd recommend finding someone who is 100% going to show up who knows how to cook on a charcoal grill that way at least you have a back up in case work royally screws me.
thanks for posting this Husky, this will give a me chance to put in for the time off. hopefully i get it though i know i already put in for time off for anthrocon so the chances of that being approved are also slim.
