This whole thosand watches thing concerns me.

Rewarding a person who only now appears to be interested? It seems as though the thousandth watch gift would be better spent being bestowed upon your first watcher.

Just my thoughts on the matter.

It's more an accomplishment of the Artist, more about being able to make that picture that represents the 1000 hit, no matter who it's to. Makes sense numerically to give it to the 1000th, since the 1st watcher may be just as interested in her art as the 1000th anyway.

Excellent point.

Pageview art is definitely the way to go then.

well pageview rewards are impossible since they dont update in real time. So if it were a request based on page views then dozens of people could claim it. That and you can just hit refresh a bunch of times in order to get to the specific view number.

Naw. *Evil snigger.* Trust me, the refresh thing doesn't work.

That's why you don't really give people specific art, you do contests for that.

Pageviews are just a milestone..like watches I suppose, only not all watchers seem to be active.

That'd be a nice bunch of comments if we all were, though.
