because I'm not american, I can only get them Monday/Tuesday through "Sky Atlantic" since they don't have the broadcasting rights to show them on the same day across the Atlantic

HAHA yeah I watched season 1 all in one weekend. It's sooo much better being able to watch them back to back, but there's just no way that I can wait for season 2 to be released! So now it's the weekly anticipation.

I'm not allowed to read past the episodes othe erwise my husband will be upset because I'll know what's going to happen. Which is fine. I'm still only on the first book anyway. It's nice though because reading the book helps make the series make a lot more sense.

Maybe, but I've never been on their site. I hate watching clips about the shows because then they have the directors talking and they have behind the scenes and I hate behind the scenes. When I see "behind the scenes" clips it reminds me that it's not real xD

HAHAHA that would be entertaining to see. I'm impressed with how good these actors are that they got for the show. You always know an actor is good when you can hate their character. And Joffrey is just so easy to hate.

I wonder how is dating life? I've never in my life met an actor, so I would personally have such a hard time disconnecting him from his character xD I always forget that actors are real people.

lol.....i bet it would be weird for him. :P idk how old he is though. he looks so YOUNG.

and yeah, good sign of a good actor or actress.
i.e. cathy bates....every time my mom saw her in anything for years after misery, she would automatically hate the character until she'd seen enough to judge otherwise, haha.

Did you read all four of the books? I'm working on reading them but I read a review that the fourth book kind of sucked... so I'm curious if it's true. Obviously everybody will have their own opinions, but I would like to know first hand from somebody if the "goodness" lasts through all four!

The fourth didn't. The fifth didn't. People had to wait a loooong time between books, so that's why bad reviews popped up for them. They're ALL good, but he's got...such a massive plot, it's more progression like every other book...like any book, basically. There was no drop in quality; i think they only get better. :)

Ugh I have got to get through this books. It just takes me so long to read! Maybe I'll be caught up by the time he releases the next book, hahaha.

And I'm glad to hear that they are still good. I know the one review I read said the reader "was upset about not hearing about the character that they wanted to read about for a long time". Which, for me, I love all the characters... and I love how they integrate with one another.

for one of the books, it's one cast for a while and very little if any view of the Wall and a few other places, I think--it focuses mostly on King's Landing. I knew this going into the series. It's because too much was happening at once. The fifth book shows what's going on in a few other regions until it's caught up on the timeline, then the rest of the book, roughly half maybe a little less, is switching between every region/character again and moving forward at the same time, like normal. Since the fans knew this A LONG TIME before the books were out I don't see why people would be too annoyed. Plus even the characters I hate, I like to see.

Ah, ok. Yeah I don't think it would bother me at all. All the characters play such a major role with one another in the long run that I would have no problem with that. Now, just gotta get my nose in the books!

long but worth it. getting ahead of the series, it'll go faster. the first book was tough cause I knew what would happen next.
