i get a email today, that steam want to verryify my e-mail address, thats the 2nd time i got such a e-mail the last weeks, i deleted it and dun opend it because i dun wanna have a virus on the PC of my mother but i have one question in my head: did some asshole used my e-mail address to make a steam account??

Um, did it have like a code in it or something? Cause whenever you clear the cookie from your browser or clean out certain things in your PC, you have to re-enter that code when you log into steam via the website and/or the steam program. It's like a 5 character/number codes that you just put it, and don't have to again until you clear the cookies on your PC and/or re-install steam and/or use a new PC and such.

um..how will you know if it's a virus. It will ask if you want to download or click on a link. You have to see if it's actually steam. If anything, try logging into steam with your email. Maybe you made one and forgot about it.

like i said; you need to check; now if the email doesn't look normal or has a file attached; don't open it. And if it is steam, just take your email out of there database
