It's looming over me right now. In about two weeks, I'll no longer be a student, and will have to face the world with a sudden lack of direction.
How existential. :P
It's bittersweet. I thrive on freedom, which I'll have for the most part, but the bureaucracy of adult life kind of terrifies me. Anyway, school's final days are what's been occupying my mind lately, which is why I've been rather inactive, even by my standards. Once home, I'll probably be a little more available, at least, though distracted by getting ready to move alone to Florida. Once there, I should have plenty of free time, exempting time spent earning paychecks.
Bare with me, folks. I'll be posting doodles again soon enough.
In other news, Caravan Palace released a new album titled 'Panic'. I am a huge fan of the first, so I purchased it. It seems to be the consensus that it's not as good as the first; I'd personally say that it's not nearly as inspired or mesmerizing. The music is a lot more subdued than the first album, and the lack of anything so aggressive and interesting makes Panic seem very... safe. It's not bad, though. Pleasant enough, and probably better for playing in the background while working thanks to its relative simplicity. I certainly won't gush over it like I did their first album, but I'd recommend it for a listen.
