Maryland...

Yeah, my mother has a huge possibility to get a job out in Maryland at a hospital as the CNO (Chief Nursing Operator) and has access to the University of Maryland. This basically means a free ride for her and her immediate family. This means I get a free ride and they even have a Meteorology degree that I can obtain.
Yeah, that sounds awesome...but according to my parents, I'd have 4 months to either get everything together before they move or go with them and say my goodbyes.
For someone like me, I'm always looking at both sides of an arguement. Sure, I'd get a free education and really get my career back up and running, but is it worth it for an extra 2-3 years of school and also, is it worth departing from all my friends and even my closest friends that I've made over the 15 years I've lived in Colorado, just to give it up for a free education? Let alone I'd actually be moving there with my parents if I do go through those years I go to college.
Sure, move back after I'm done. Times change to quickly and I've been having too much fun with my friends to just, give it up. I'm just now discovering who I am on the inside and developing myself as a furry in colorado and a friend to others, I believe to me, it's best if I stay behind and live my life how I want it. This is my chance to get everything ready and prepare to be away from my parents from a long distance. A chance to get my life started the right way.
I don't know. What do you guys think? I know I'm going to stay behind and then go to Maryland when I'm ready, not when my parents are ready.

But I know it'd suck to leave behind your friends, and the home you know, and such. I understand that pain, because that's kind of what John is going through right now.
Maybe it's something to go for. And you'd be closer to where I live, maybe you could come by here and there :D
