Meh. I just about completely ignore the news for that reason. Never anything good. Just sensationalize the bad. I find I can't change the world but I can focus on improving it for the people I come into contact with. I've noticed my overall mood and attitude has gotten much better since then.

Shit, I've gone from a compulsive news junky to ignoring it almost entirely.

Any time I turn on the radio it's some asshole lying about something or a bunch of politicians arguing about useless shit or being downright offensive. There's so much stupid shit that I can't deal with, I just can't pay that much attention anymore. I'd rather spend my time wondering if I've drawn enough boobs on this shemale...

i'm still a bit of a son of a bitch sometimes though so i get where you're coming from but every once in a while i'm surprised by the people around me.

Politics suck. My uterus recently became the business of the state, so I want to get the fuck out of Georgia. Actually, I want to bail out of this country all together. Just know you're not the only person enraged/disheartened by the government and the people involved in it.

Ok,first off,don't watch the news if you want to hear anything good. The ratings are in scaring the shit out of people. So you're going to constantly hear about how "something you eat is going to kill you" or "there's a killer lurking under your sink,we'll tell you about it at 11" or "how to tell if your closest friend is actually a serial killer". Most of it's bullshit. Especially politics. For example,when the Clinton gun ban lifted,several idiots in favor of the ban declared there'd be slaughter in the streets as people flooded the gun shops and bought the newly legal "assault rifles". You know,like without their divine guidance we're all gonna turn into a pack of animals. Ban lifted,gun shops did a little better business,but in the end,no assault rifle armageddon came down on us.

So yeah,you need to stop believing the crazed dipshits on TV and get to know some real people.

We live in a supremely indifferent universe. If anyone wants anything good out from this world, one needs to take a proactive stance to make it happen, rather than being a passive believer of some naturally occurring form of justice and balance.

To me news has no real meaning when in today's society always has the same thing, the same old song and dance in the media, thinking that this is a huge issue when the issue has been like this for some time.

I have a solution:
