You picked the same day as the meet I planned at the Harrisburg Arts festival on city island. :(

Terribly sorry. I honestly don't know much about other meets, especially ones outside of the York area. I did find out after the date was chosen that it was on the same day, though a number of York people told me after that, that they wanted something around here because gas monies and time prevents them from going to something all the way in Harrisburg.

Hopefully in the future we can coordinate a bit better, so that those who are able to make it to either won't have to choose. Just get in touch with me when you know the dates for future meets and I will do my best to make sure ours aren't arranged on the same day.

And good luck with your meet! I hope it goes well and I'm sorry I can't attend due to the conflict.

well, we picked the date because of the Arts fest. We will be suiting up with all the local artists and musicians most of the day. You need to join the Facebook page if you have one. That's where pretty much all the ideas come from before they make it to surple.

Well that sounds like a whole lot of fun. Heh, it makes me wish I had a suit myself, someday... I hope you guys get lots of good pictures from it! Could you get me a link to the facebook page? Hopefully I can make sure our meets don't collide with yours in the future ^.^

Hmm, never been to a meet of any kind before, but I'd probably feel awkward not knowing anyone and stuff...

Well, I can introduce you to everyone! Don't worry, its really not awkward at all, a lot of people are shy and new, and you have to start somewhere. I can make sure you meet everyone if you'd like ^.^
