Can't make it, just had to dump about 130 bones into fixing my car's AC because driving a black car around during summer, in Florida is downright suicidal without that precious resource. I've had a few people offer to cover my entry and room but there's still some other expenses to worry about... and to be honest it just doesn't feel right accepting money like that. Guess I'm a bad jackal? Who knows.
Anyway, what I do know is I'll be missing out, but to be honest I think a quiet weekend is better for me, it's been sort of stressful lately as I've been cracking down on finding a new job and stressing to find my own place soon. Plus... I fully intend on making AC this year, even with such short planning but I've had a few bits of fortune carried my way, all I need now is to conserve my funds until the time to drive up comes. Sorry for anyone who was expecting me there, but to be honest, anyone I know there already lives within a 30 minute drive so we could easily see each other on free time. I was a little excited to see the new hotel, but unless those crazy 2012 prophecies hold some truth, it's gonna be there for next year's event.
