It depends on price, but I'm mostly interested in unusual designs. The more intrigued I am, the more likely I am to buy. Personalities and profiles are often a plus, but not always.

*nods* I'll keep that in mind. :) Also, do you mean something where there are already a sort of 'history' for the characters?

History, or at least a basic personality profile. Things like "she's shy, and blushes at being nude, but is always thinking of sex" or "She's got a temper, protective streak and is more likely to punch you as kiss you." Not high detail, but something to latch onto. I'm a writer, so I tend to be more inclined to buy chars that I can use in stories and a couple personality sentences are likely to catch my attention.
