Apparently the real reason for the rarity of wiis in the U.S is the weak dollar, which translates to less profit to the japanese yen, the wii's we've been getting are somewhat overstock from UK which is where is nintendo is focusing their marketing and sales 3= wow our dollar sucks ass now....... but nintendo promised that this will soon end and we'll be getting a steady stream once UK sales slow down, we'll start getting more and the wii's in diffirent color selections is a maybe.

Aside from this bad dollar value, nintendo says they might have to consider charging for Wii online as early as may15 at a usually competitive pricing of 5-9 bucks a month with a bonus of 500-1000 wii points for some, nintendo, advised this may be temporary, as well as using an update agianst Wii Freeloader for unlocking regions for Wii games, stopping Datel Action Replay product to be blocked by april 25.
