...they're finally making a new Mickey game based on Castle and World of Illusion series on the Genesis/Mega Drive, called Power of Illusion for 3DS. Developed by the same folks who did Henry Hatsworth and Monster Tale, and its 2D graphics with the 3D effects.

thats pretty cool. it's slightly bittersweet tho. it makes me remember when videogames wern't mostly "realistic" brown shooters.

yeah i kinda miss the old "escapist" mindset back the heyday before it got all "grimdark". I mean i still play "Grimdark" shooters every now and then, but i'd like to see more games along the lines of Rayman Origins where everything isn't so gritty.

im surprised their hasnt been a grim edgy dark re-imagining of rayman yet. i guess the one on the 64 was kinda "Dark" in that it wasnt made of rainbows but he was still the same character esthetically. we can all be thankfull for that.
