FA: now with ocasinal furry art!

maybe that's a tad harsh, but tell me i'm wrong.
Really, I LIKE this place, it's awsome that there's a place that, free of charge, i can post art! how sweet is that? a community of artists of all styles and calibers with one common factor: they all like to work in a simmilar genre.
pretty frikkin' sweet eh?
but this has been bothering me: (notice a pattern? he only writes in his journal when he's being pissy.) people making accounts and posting art that has 100% nothing at all to do with anthropomorphics, funny animals, furries, furfag, or whatever the fuck you want to call it. just poeple going "hey a art sight! i make arts! i will post naow. (hurr~)"
This is not a dig on people posting pictures from life, or poeple posting their other non-furry art alongside their furry art. thats fine. i mean as long as your not dumping you entire vacation photolibrary here or anything. or posting neked pic of yourself for attention (you know who you are) personally, i post all my non-furry shit on DA or my blog, this place has enough bandwith problems as it is without the extra load, especially when you consider that it's paid for almost exclusivly by donations from within the community.
So i just wanted to get that out. all you braniacs who aren't fans and who don't draw, write, or create or contribute to the furry art community in any way?

Now, after a bitch like that how can i not upoload something? I'm uploading some stuff to my scraps gallery, some pages i've done for my senior project, they're pretty raw right now, but you can get a general sense of where i'm going with it, thy'er uninked and there's a bunch of changes forthcomming soon (i got some really got critiques from the teacher and the TA the other day so i've got changes to make.) but for now i've got 8 pages out of 16 of my final. when it's FINALLY DONE, i'l be printing it through either KA-BLAM or COMIXPRESS and selling them online and at cons.
Though i had an idea, i'm going to pitch this more as i get the comic closer to the deadline, but would anyone be interested in bying adspace? cheap of course, but it would help me meet the cost of printing, and since this will hopfully be an ongoing series I plan on doing, your one-time purchase will be continuously re-printed whenever i need more copies.
anyway, just a thought.

that's my argument. and also, i can get good and angry at anything i like, fyi, I'm particularly good at it.
Elfwood, I haven't heard much about it and it probably has a tiny community.
I just think it's wrong to say "HEY, YOU, GTFO, U DNT DRAW FURRY PR0NZ"
If, however, furaffinity were more of what it kind of suggests itself to be, and art sight that allows any sort of art, as long as it's furry-related then we would at least keep it focused on it's particular genre. and for those who posted here who wanted to post non-furry art, well then we have places like DA, and sheezy art and whatever else is hot right now. And you wouldn't even have to moderate it, just post the guidelines, and the majority of pepple would respect it, and those who didn't would get told of by everyone else.
But yeah, just my opinion here. Though i'm not sure why you think it's about wanting more porn, i think we have quite enough of that already. i want more good furry artists, and less extra junk that could just as easily be posted on DA or peoples personal livejournals

I feel similarly to people who have NOTHING on their page and poeple who don't have avatars.
