I didn't know Adam Yauch personally, but the Beastie Boys helped me through some rough parts in my pre-teen and teen years.
Last month the world lost Levon Helm. Men like this leave us but grant us a pure look at their souls. I don't know what else to say really, I don't even want to think of it.
