Boyfriend whisked me away to the theater and we watched The Avengers. Now, I was going into it with high hopes, because the previews, well... were awesome.

And personally? They did NOT let me down!

I really enjoyed the movie, it kept me laughing and smiling (well, 'cept for when someone died, that's a given though) - they managed to make an action film that was at the same time funny and serious, and even ups and downs the whole way despite the constant bickering between the members of the team.

I personally have to say, I can't wait to see the next one. Thanos.. jesus they're gonna have fun with that one.

This year? Great year for movies. :|
Now I get to be paranoid that this year's going to make the next few years look like crap, movie-wise. :P
