Hello my Duckies,
Some urgent news,
A wonderful and talented artist
rosedust is in need of some help.
She needs to raise about $95 and is currently open to Commissions, I also believe she may take sketch requests if anyone is willing to help her out. Please check her out, if you can't afford a commission that's totally fine.
If you could please make a Journal/Post on Tumblr/Da/etc to help spread the word that would be wonderful.

Other Junk;;
On a side not trying to get out of this nasty art-block, I just come to realize I never really saw myself as an artist, drawing was always something I saw as a hobby. I'm trying to develop my style and try something new but everything I attempt just frustrates the hell out of me. So tell me any advice or what gets you out of a block? Q u Q
Thank you everyone.

just keep trying new things? and try to alternate between what you like, what is fun for you, and between new things. if you just keep trying new things and they're not turning out, drawing is just frustrating and not fun. so between that, do things that are easier and more fun for you. another good tip is to draw/work on characters that inspire you/giftart for others, because it makes your work more meaningful as well as getting some extra input from people?
you should also try copying pictures; i know everybody is like "noooo copying is bad" but I think it's a really useful tool, especially since you haven't been drawing for a long time. kind of trace over other pictures and see what works for you and what doesn't. if you don't want to copy other art (which can be kind of awkward), trace over screenshots from movies/video games/official art sources? comic books or manga art books or...anything that you think is "cool" or that you like. it's a good starting point and sometimes it can help with art block because you have to focus on less, you don't have to worry about all the parts of a drawing at once, you can kind of learn bits and pieces
ANOTHER thing you can do is look at...other types of art? maybe instead of just "drawing" you can look at lineless/simplified pieces, or editing pictures, or using patterns instead of plain colors. just mess around with lots of different things and maybe you can find something that you like even better!
