Bed bugs and you (help me please)

General
so...uh i need help
if anyone has information for me that would be wonderful
We just had our first treatment for bed bugs and there's a lot of things that we can't just toss in a drier and call it a day
I have...like $3000+ worth of books/manga that I am terrified to heat up
as well as tons of PVC figures (anime) that I doubt would survive any heating what so ever
I also have all my art work among various items that I would seriously not heat unless someone could possibly prove to me they'd be safe.
HAS ANYONE faced this before? if you did, how did you treat these items?
Or does anyone know if heating manga/pvc figures would be safe? :<
thanks guys.
Also I'm in Canada, can't use some of the treatments available in the states, it's illegal here half the time D:

FA+

I also have an ass load of the play arts figures
Not sure what a play arts figure is, so I'm not sure if I can help you there. ^.^;;;;
Find out if you can FREEZE the items instead of heating them if possible.
and freezing requires a deep freeze which we can't seem to find p_q i am terrified to heat my manga! and my figures! *SOB*
how hot would you have to heat the manga to? And the figures? Is there an exact temperature?
I have a feeling the figures would melt and the covers of my manga would peel to holy high hell
What you might want to do, for the mangas, is try it first on one you either don't really like, or you can easily find again. Or, get a book with similar materials from a thrift store maybe, and see what happens when you expose it to that kind of heat.
I'm not sure what you can do for the figures...but if I think of something, I will let you know. :(
I just thought of something, not for the figures, but the books -- what about microwaving them? xD Or would that be worse?
I figure, that would HAVE to kill bed bugs.
...or turn them radioactive.
... ...That would be bad.
