I plan on doing Toronto etc whilst i'm there.

I've been to Canada before, but it was Sudbury and Montreal on those occasions.
FS6 isn't to far a drive from the city. Maybe we can catch up there.

I'm actually in Guelph, it's about an hour southwest of Toronto. I go to downtown Toronto nearly every day for work tho.

Our house is always open if you want a place to crash, we've got a spare bed in the (nice) basement.

Guelph is a little over a hour from my place, not far at all. you should come visit us then while Oz is here.

I just mapped it, and it says it's quicker to take the back roads :p +1 for not having to drive through Toronto at all.

the last time i drove to Guelph i took the back roads. ( through Erin i believe)

Pittsburgh can be as bad in the humidity department as Florida so bring suits that breathe well if you want to do anything outside.

As far as my AC reply to you and your direct questions Oz:

To bring or not to bring extra suit. If it's heavy, if its bulky, if it is tricky to walk around in, the walk even through the convention center from upstairs main ballroom to downstairs dealers room/art show/artists alley area is a significant amount of steps. Nevermind adding the elevator/bridge/walkway that extends to the Westin Hotel and "zoo" and other meeting room areas.

I'd advise against it save your sanity and save your space. Bring the regular Oz and Duke and that should be fine.

Masquerade!: There's one on saturday and if you'd like to join in even as an extra show up for the saturday morning rehersal/dry run and ask around for those that migh tneed an extra suit or two to fill out their skits!

Marsupial Madness Meet and Greet!: I host a panel for kangaroos, and other members of the marsupial family. it's an hour of your time wasted at the con, if it holds the traditional day and time slot, look for it Saturday about 4pm, between "after the parade" and "before the masquerade" I woudl adore it if you would attend. Doubly so if you did a bit in suit . (Headless lounge is just down the hall if needed!)

You could go to a Florida Furry Convention, where Femine Furs will Play Beach Volleyball with you - well actually you'll be the Beach Ball!
Shame I won't be at any, but with enough saved up I'll be going to my first Furcon next year - "Confuzzled 2013!"
