I just had to change mine on my wrx... a damn tensioner was falling appart so I couldn't wait to do it, and since you have to remove the radiator to do it and that it's better to do the water pump and change all of the tensioner and everything, to get it done properly it's a 1000$ job that can't really wait x.x

Well depending on which cam profile you lost it on you may be OK. The short duration cam in non interfere, but the long one is...

Timing belts are fun, including when one snaps and fucks everything up when your dealer mechanic tells you its not time to change it..when there is clear signs of ripping.

I hate timing belts. There a pain in the A$$,

I'm not changing my timing belt at home again. I'll let a professional mechanic get halfway into the engine for the job.

Ahhhh sheeeet.... well on the bright side, at least you wont have to dig the engine out to deal with that bearing you thought it was. Besides, you can always borrow my valve spring compressor if need be xP God knows i finally got it to work XD

Yay bent valves! XD. I just hope that never happens on my Honda....thankfully my other two cars have chains....

I only drive chain engines for this reason
