I have a habit of expecting people to trust me as much as I trust them, and it never seems to be the case. This is clearly an indication that I trust people far too readily. I like to believe I'm not naive, but my method of conducting myself socially seems to be pretty peculiar.

I've always been particular with my friends. I have those who are very close to me, and those I am merely cordial with. There's no middle ground. I am entirely suspicious of those who aren't close, and fully trusting of those who are.
I suppose I really should sort out my friends a little more abrasively. Make room for more I can trust to an extent, and further narrow my already very thin circle of confidants. It just seems shallow to me. Like having Quantity rather than Quality. Perhaps that really is naivety though.

I gotta see a Psychologist...
