In case you missed it, there's a fanart contest going on right now to honor the release of the Prydwen graphic novel! To enter, all you need to do is draw one of the extensive cast of characters, in whichever visual you prefer, and put "prydwencontest" in the keywords. The prizes are awesome, including Intuos 5 tablets, Sofawolf gift certificates, and free advertising on FA.


I had the pleasure to meet the author and artist,  ladyfoxglove, at Emerald City ComicCon earlier this year at the Sofawolf booth. I bought a copy of Prydwen there, read it on the way home, and now can't wait for the next book. I had my own plans to paint some fanart of Tristan from the comic, when Lynn asked if I'd like to be one of the judges of the fan art competition. Needless to say, I was flattered! :]

So, while my own piece of Prydwen fanart will have to wait until the competition is over--now's your chance to draw some of your own, AND win fabulous prizes!
