Since I've noticed there's been a lot of time between journals, and since I lack any earth-shattering insights today (give it time, man), I thought I would share with you an amusing moment from my past.

This event happened when I was about 7 or 8 years old. I was in love for the first time (well, at least I thought I was) with a girl whose birthday party (she was a year younger) I was at. Well, I forget the exact context (something about Barbie plates or the like) but she got upset, so I suggested we run away together.

Needless to say, we didn't get very far. We got maybe a few blocks to a general store where we bought some soda and then a little further until both our parents found us and grounded us for running away (and more specifically crossing a busy freeway). This whole event lasted less than an hour.

Still, that was the first time I did something stupid for love. :3
