I'm looking for hard rock/heavy metal groups that feature a woman as the lead singer. Whether there's just the one woman fronting the group or the group is comprised of women doesn't matter.
So far the only ones I can think of who play a style (or at least the singer has a certain voice) that I'm looking for is Lacuna Coil and Nightwish.

Basically, the vocal style I'm looking for is melodic, angelic, overall pleasant. I've never been big on heavy metal groups that almost exclusively growl or scream their lyrics and this includes bands with a front woman. It doesn't have to be a heavy sounding band either, but would be prefered. Even punk or rock-a-billy or just any kind of rock and roll sound would work. Even a fictional band like the Hex Girls would work. :D

I'm looking for some inspiration for something I'm working on and any band that has a pleasant sounding to heavenly sounding front woman singing is what I'm looking for.

I know I could probably Google this, but I'd like to hear what examples you all come up with. :)

EDIT: I just realized that I probably didn't give a good enough description of what I'm looking for. "Vague" would probably be the appropriate word. XD

So here's what I'm thinking of:
Rock and roll band (style isn't quite defined, but I'm thinking hard rock/heavy metal with a little bit of punk, goth, pop or rock-a-billy mixed in) with a..."feminine" lead singer with a sweet and feminine voice. The kind of voice a guy can fall in love with the first time he hears it. :heart:
