Yeah, that scraping sticks in my skull, and comes back repetitively as soon its mentioned e_e
This one's scraping was weirdly quieter than the rest though. The others are like GRRRK GRRRK GRRRK, and you can hear it in your mouth echo in your SKULL, but this one was like queek~queek~queek~

It's all in the hygienist's touch - and how good your gums are. If they're heavy handy, you'll bleed more and it'll be louder. If they're lighter, any bleeding is your own fault and less loud.

Now I wanna brush my teeth.

But if I'm a heavy-duty bleeder (I'd done it for 3 days straight in one appointment), why is this one not causing me horror/trauma? Like I got back after the appointment and everything, no bleeding like, at all. Its like the best one in my life so far XD

Alas, I just bruised my gums flossing after this story x-x I don't think I've ever managed that. Well, except the time the floss got stuck and I punched myself in the face when I pulled it out... But I don't think that counts.

I've always been horribly finnicky and fearful to do it. I intend to start now though, while they're clean and preserve dat shit. Prevent the worst from happening again (like I should've years ago, but only now takes effect due to hightened sense of responsibility)

I found the only real way to do it regularly is get flossers or a flossing tool. Floss and fingers just never works for me.

My brother uses those as well, so I think I'mma do that too

Yeah that was my first reaction the first time I went there.
I love the frothy-mouthed Tazmanian Devil with the squeezed out toothpaste though. More of that would be more relaxing XD

I always didn't mind the dentist. I actually had my anthstetic wear out half way through, becuase the dentist took too long with everything, but i told him to keep going, and he drilled a bit more without me flinching.

Oh, my sedatives have worn off halfway through many times XD
I vaguely remember screaming fits through the memory loss x3
