First off, I would like to say Thank You! to everybody who donated. I really appreciate all the donations you sent in and there were a few surprisingly generous donations that made me stop and go "wow, really?!". It's great to know you enjoyed Nimin so much! ^^ Half were with requests and half weren't, and overall I ended up with more donations than I thought I would. I'm still going to be working on a couple other requests over the next few days while I order and wait for parts, but everything will be ready for 0.95 when it comes out in a week or two! ^^
Overall, it was rather successful. So successful, in fact, that I may be doing more such drives in the future. Not week-long things like this one that culminate in a release though, more like one or two days here and there where I take donation requests and wind up adding more to the game than I had planned for myself. There was a surprising amount of content added in just a single week, which is great, but I also have to take into account that I'm kinda burnt out from it and will be looking forward to a break of doing things at my own pace X3
I'm not sure what parts I'm going to order for my computer yet, but it looks like I'll be able to upgrade my computer to survive several more years ^^ (That and I don't think I have much of a choice otherwise XD). I'll be posting another journal later to consult you technophiles about the decisions, since things have progressed a bit since I last built a computer, though I'm gonna try to look around and get an idea first.
And for those of you who still want to get the early special build (a build that has all the new items already in your inventory and will be sent out 3 days in advance),you can still donate at least $2 to be put on the list, but I'm only going to do this until the end of Monday. I know some people missed out that wanted it, but I don't want to keep the list open forever either. Eh, you can still donate until I get my computer up, but after that the special build would be finished soon and sent out, so you wouldn't be able to get it then XD
