Ever look at a face you've known forever...

... and wonder just when the hell it started looking like that?
Happens to me all the time.
Like, I'll look closely at a friend I've known for years, or someone I've known for months, or even my father, and wonder how the hell I never knew what they looked like. I tend to recognize people by their stance and voice more than anything, so it's not really a problem or anything, it's just really bizarre.
And nothing's more jarring than when you look in the mirror and don't recognize the face looking back.
Happens to me all the time.

Tell me about it...It happens to me most of the time and becomes quite frustrating at times, too. I think it has to do the way we perceive ourselves...

OP
You have no idea how much I thought about that when I got to that bit in the game.

I tend to do this with voices too. I'll be listening to someone talk, then suddenly look at them and see them physically talking and realise how strange the voice coming from them is. Sometimes it's a mix of both; an unfamiliar face with an unfamiliar voice. It's kind of concerning, haaha.
