Anthrocon is only a month away - I hope everyone's getting excited!
We have been discussing another big Clockwork Creature photoshoot + eats, and probably other meetups and antics, and in order to keep things as organized as is at all possible, I'd like to get a list together of people who would like to be notified about various plans. So far nothing has been set in stone regarding when we'll do the photoshoot and whatnot, or where we might eat afterward - suggestions are welcome.
If you would like to be in the loop, please comment below. I (or Manojalpa) will be sending out group emails as plans develop. I probably have everyone's email addresses, but it would likely be very helpful if you would note your email address in your comment.
As we get closer to the con, we can exchange cell phone numbers so that everyone can be notified by text message/SMS during the con itself.
ALSO - if you are bringing a camera (photo, video or both) to the con and want to take photographs of the group (or anyone in the group or whatever), please feel free to also leave a message below so that you can be included in the photography effort. I think it would be neat to take some "fashion shots" around the downtown area, separate from the big group photo plan (maybe on Sunday?), or arrange some silly video opportunities, or any number of things like that.

..and it'd probably help if I got a cell phone before the con too. Probably.
- Dinner (Possibly at a restaurant, but since we're all in the same hotel block, we also thought of just having a hallway party spread, with food in one room and then places to hang out in others. People would have to volunteer their rooms for this "Clockwork Party" though)
- Official indoor photoshoot (likely followed by dinner or one of the outdoor shots)
- Outoor city photoshoot x2 (one during sunset, one more morning/early day since a lot of people have booked nights - maybe one could happen after the fursuit parade)
- Organized fursuit parade group, with Clockwork Creature banners (one leading, one following)
Let me know how well that matches up to what you were thinking! And then I will track you down and poke you elsewhere and we can mind meld on more specifics :D
That said, for group foods, pizza seems like a good option to me. Also I'll have to make sure with everyone, but we may be able to open up one of our rooms for the gathering.
Outdoor photoshoots should definitely happen. After the fursuit parade seems like a good plan to me for one of them. Sunday is also a good option for anyone staying that long, since not a whole lot happens at the con on Sundays.
Parade - banners or flags sound good. I was thinking of bringing a pole and attaching a simple colored flag or small banner to it, probably with the logo scrawled on. Simpler flags like that seem like they would be fun and tribal.
I'm not sure when I leave Sunday, but wouldn't be able to do a Sunday evening one - maybe Sunday morning though. And I like post parade photos (maybe after a break in the headless lounge so we're not all dying :D). Working on creating a schedule!!
We're going to try and make banners that matchy matchy with the shirts, so large black banner, golden clockwork logo, hefty stick for a beasty to carry.
One thing with the schedule (that you've probably thought of) - When planning the photoshoot, probably just plan in a general time frame, as I don't believe the times for the photoshoot area will be posted until the con.
Are you also thinking that the big group photoshoot will be Saturday evening?
I hope you all have fun though.

Very interested in photoshoots, and would like to know of any parties! I'm over at the Doubletree though >v<
