Unfortunately most of these programs which help you find a lost phone (for example the "Find my iphone" app) must be installed and registered with your phone before you have lost it. Also, like Raphiel said, 'lost' the phone. Nothing the cops can really do about misplacing your property. My suggestion would be to think of the last time you had your phone. Try to retrace your steps from there. (if you were at work that day, or perhaps at a friends house) Also, every nook and cranny. Search it! Dunno how many times I've found my phone underneath my couch or behind my bed >~<;

He's 15, and despite supposedly having no phone privileges due to piss-poor grades and throwing daily temper tantrums when he's deprived of his electronics my folks turn a blind eye to his constant texting. As someone who has Asperger's, I'm seriously irked when rules are so flippantly broken like that.

aw, but he's just a kid. I understand that given the circumstances you have every right to be bothered by these rules being broken but I mean, I wouldn't consider buying an outfit for my child for their junior prom to be spoiling them. Parents just being parents

i know right!? i have that problem also! >..< in DnD i'm the "Rules Lawyer" type... the Dm and her primary player (husband and wife playing in a non-co-op game = okay... Player husband constantly power gaming on ego trips, and throwing out of char tantrums when he's not the star of the show, and a GM wife whom has lazy (read: completely non-existent) planning ethics, and seems to believe she's unable to play a campaign at all without her husband running the show IS NOT OKAY. rule damnit. AT LEAST FOLLOW SOME!)

they like to do "BS" games like.. daily between themselves ("BS Game" a white-wolf sourced game-like system where the only rules that exist is that you must create a char concept within the idea of White Wolf's Vampire series... but you dont need books, or char sheet, or ANY RULES OTHER THAN THAT. literally. not a one. free game.)

I'm sorry you're having it so rough. D:

Try calling the phone a few times each day, maybe someone will pick up (and/or you'll hear it ring), you never know.

If your carrier is AT&T, you can get a cheap AT&T/Cingular phone such as this one off eBay and have them put a new SIM in it for your account, that model of phone is basic but it's also built like a tank. (If you have a different carrier, just find an unlocked one. And avoid the "tracfone" version, they use odd custom firmware.)

You have at least possiblity to receive your phone back.
So as my friend had. Some prick took his smart phone on a festival and he roperted it to the police. 4 weeks later he got a police number in Italy. They found it near the border to Austria. 8 weeks later he got it back.
And I? Well, appearantly showing off a light phone (luckily it was a old and cheap one) near a river isn't a the best idea.

Just calm down a bit. Anger is a pointless way to react. It doesn't bring it back to you. Nor it will give you a break. You will just keep spending time on hating stuff without accomplish anything at the end.

The art, I love your art, the only reason I vanished is due to college work which was very important. I'd only just come back from finishing it this week, I have a loooooot to catch up on XP

Awww hun, I'd honestly wish I could be around more often, but alas timezones suck when I can't get on to see some of my friends at god knows late ass times at night. Chat programs too are always a problem when they sometimes up and refuse to show who's online and not.

I enjoy your art and I'd certainly would love to commission you for some of it given the chance, I loved the gifts you've given me of Deek and I certainly want to return the favor one day. In truth I actually want to feature yourself with Deek one day when I next feature him!

I do hope you get a chance to get your phone back and I do wish I could help in some way. I know we need to try and chat again, get both back upto speed with each other!

You also have to remember that you have an alternative art style that not everyone can appreciate. I can look at an artists art and appreciate it for what it is. Most people would see something that doesn't interest them and click the "Back" button. It has nothing to do with your art not being good, you just don't have much along the lines of general appeal. Which isn't a bad thing. But if you want more appeal from more people, you're going to have to draw more generalized art that caters to everyone.

i've been very VERY bad about doing art of any sort this past year, and i openly admit that. i-am-sorry.
and while it almost feels like an excuse since i'm telling you this only -after- you post a journal about it, i can send you a scan of the art-list i have and show you that you're at the very top of the list.

i do hope you catch a break soon though, such circumstances do suck :(

If it makes you feel better, I'll go through the art and comment on some of them. Actually, I probably should do that without asking.

Some people have rules about uploading other's work onto their page. I only managed to overcome this in recent times, as my uploads of hyper-ball illustrations will tell you.

I'd be happy to upload art from you, even writing a little story. I haven't earned the right to one, but I thought you would know I would upload one. 'Course, I need my computer online first, but that should be fixed soon.

Try to distract yourself from the frustrations. Do stuff you can enjoy, so long as you stop thinking about that stuff for awhile.

yeah, same here... sorry i dont tend to have many comments on your art :( as i've said before, i tend not to do much art viewing... i dont have the eye for it :(

but your art does look good :) i personally think a lot of the problems you've been having are simply based on stress. family. pressure. lack of recognition... phone now...

i just think you might be too stressed to be able draw effectively... i might not know much about art, but one thing i've learned from my many art-sy friends over the years is that with stress the first thing to suffer is art-type abilities.
