I got a vulture feather! I guess since you've been nice (winks) I can mail it along with the more Paddy feathers I've been squirreling away for you. I'll assume you can tell it apart. LOL

I don't wanna seem ungrateful, but vulture feathers are illegal to own in the US. :( Due to the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, most native bird feathers are too. The Paddy feathers would be great, though! :)

Really? They are? lol well, I'm going to end up with a bunch because these two buzzards live at the family house. Hence, I found one. hee hee That's cool. I'll just keep it. I'm sure a dream catcher I have would love it.

Yeahh, it's pretty silly, because in some cases (red-tailed hawks, for instance) the 'protected' birds are hitting pest status. :\ Songbirds (except for introduced species, like house sparrows and starlings) are also protected.

Good to keep in mind. So in other words, if I find wild bird feathers I'll just hold onto them. It's not like I'm running out there and catching these things then plucking them. lol

As long as you're not waving them around in front of a game warden, usually nobody cares unless they're bald eagle feathers. (and then, SO MUCH CARING) :P
