She was one of the two rats I adopted about a year ago after Turtle died. She had an upper respiratory infection and I was treating her for it since Tuesday night. She seemed to be getting better but last night she didn't want her medicine and she was breathing far harder than she had been for a few days. I kept checking on her every hour until about 4:30am this morning she stopped breathing.

I don't know if I'll get another rat unless there's one that really needs me. I still have 3 babies to take care of and they were the ones that stayed up with me with their sister.
