Its funny, with the state of the US economy, a "Zombie" Situation is possible to develop. While IRL it wont be zombies, it could be the blowback of a populace used that sees the truth.

There is a lot of misinformation in this whole 2012 thing, and while you are not wrong, I think it is a lot more simple than most realize.

Every so often in a few lifetimes things change. Its how it works, its how we are. Wars, politics, issues.

With those always come shitty times, and great times.

With that said, there is never going to be a ultimate shitty time but there will be a few more hairy than others from time to time.

This whole thought process of an ultimate doom has been around since the dawn of man into a thinking being - its in that that a thinking beings worst fears will always grow, nothing wrong with being on guard, but it can be a bit much.

Most see it for what it is, a worst case. In some instances some of those instances will happen, but for the most part, the 2012 issue is one of having to face a change. A similar annunciated catastrophe will have a different date post 2012, but its not the dates, its the fact that hopefully,we will learn and move forward.

Were just fucked! I think were heading to Mad Max times with all the wealthy people in their bunkers and everyone else starving and all apocalypse like. I really do believe bad times are ahead. Yeah there has been bad times before but what if its a new worse kind of bad times. The uber wealthy controllers have to find a way to kill off most of the population somehow.

Btw if you havent seen that show go watch a few episodes! Its crazy some of the shit that show has put together! Kinda wish I didnt know some of the stuff they have said.

actually, leap years are merely a correction for the lack of accuracy to our current calender. since the days aren't exactly twenty-four hours long, we need an extra day every four years to add the time each day missed. the Mayan calender used the stars, so it's actually far more accurate.

that being said... i still maintain they simply ran out of room on the rock, and that the world isn't going to end. though if it does, i hope it's with zombies. i'm a good shot, and if i get bit, i'll save a bullet for myself XD

The whole "2012 Mayan apocalypse" idea has just been disproved. They found a new part of the calendar which proved its cyclality. One piktun will, perhaps, end late this year. But another shall begin, and the world shall be renewed. And that's assuming Palenque wasn't right and the new piktun doesn't in fact begin in 4772.

I've got plans. Me and my two best friends do, at least. One of my friends has a family of carpenters and the other owns guns, Lots of Guns. Our plan involves building a 6 foot cement wall around our 3 story apartments and adding a thick 3 foot wall on top of that. It sounds a lot harder than it would be. Just gotta tear out the stairs and we would have plenty of wood, then make Holes in each floor with Rope ladders through them. The only REAL issue would be getting the cement.

Building walls like that during the zombie apocalypse I doubt is going to be easy. All the hammering to make the forms and sound of the cement mixer is going to attract allot of zombies! And with the amount of stupid people in an apartment building, I would be scared of the person who keeps that 1 infected family member in there back room who doesnt tell anyone else and gets everyone else infected! Youre only as safe as the dumbest person in the building! I say drive north. Go where the cold will freeze the SOBs! But thats easy for me to say, Im already in Canada ^^
