-Takes out pen and writes-
DC, the dark grey, demon squirrel, was sleeping on a tree branch. His bushy tail hanging precariously from off the branch whilst his claws digged into the bark to keep his grip. The cool breeze brushed between his fur.
"Hey! Are you ok?" DC asked nervously. His heart was pounding, hoping the owl would see him as someone trying to help and not as lunch.
His first response was naught but a groan- just a faint "Rrgghg...." but as the owl regained his senses, he spoke up, "Kyah... yeah... yeah I think I'm fine..." he still lay there- he hadn't actually seen DC yet...
"To find some acorns! Why?" The squirrel asked
"There is an owl down there!" DC replies slightly panic striken
"Hehe, don't worry about it! By the looks of it, it seems to be more in pain than in hunger! Come on!" The squirrel replies with a smile.
DC nodded and followed
"Look at all those acorns DC" The squirrel smiles
DC looked up and his eyes were imediatly caught by the sight of thousands of acorns. He couldn't help but drool at the wonderous sight
"When did you find this great spot?" DC asks with a smile.
"Sometime last week" The squirrel replies. "Isn't it great?"
"Definatly! Of all the times I have ran and glided through this forest (DC is a flying squirrel) and I have never seen this tree!" DC replies happily
"Aaaaah!" DC yells in fright
DC awaited to see if the owl would spare his life and just keep him inside for a while
Al yawned, and went to go find that spot he was looking for. With a bit of concentration, he'd keep his digestive tract from digesting his prey, and in a little while, he'd let the squirrel back out once his predatory instincts were satisfied...
Meanwhile, Al's belly rolled gently around DC- bathing him in warmth and digestive juices that, oddly enough, didn't seem to be doing anything to him. If the squirrel wasn't scared out of his mind, it was actually sort of calming, the mixture between the warmth, the liquids, the gentle rolling and churning of his stomach, and the steady rhythms of his breathing and heartbeat...
DC was confused as to why the acids were not causing any harm to him. But he felt at ease and layed back and floated. "Ah, this is beautiful! Nice and warm, cosy. If it wasn't for the stench of recently eaten food, this would be perfect!" DC smiles and then falls asleep
Al found a nice, cozy spot for himself the lay down at, feeling his stomach work over the squirrel inside. Honestly, he'd expected the squirrel to freak out more... but he seemed at peace within, and as such, the owl closed his eyes- perhaps he would nap too...
(And I guess that would be where this one would end, then... unless you want to go further?)
