Thanks, everyone, for being there for me when I kind of blew my top. I was seriously stressed out, and had no right to rant like that.
Anyway
I had a talk with mom (and Sprint), and it turns out that the reason I had such a super-old shitty-ass phone was because I actually took care of it, unlike the rest of my family (my brother's broken his at least twice). Essentially, since it wasn't broken or damaged, it didn't need replacing until the contract was up...
...roughly three weeks from now.

I'm gettin' an iPhone!!!!! *squees and dances in circles* u

FA+

and yes i'm a VERY old fan of "keeping care" of my items... the newest-tech phone i have has a 1.3 MP camera, it flips open (so retro-2000's...), and fits entirely in my palm, almost so even when flipped open.
but that's been like every phone i've ever had- save the first two that didnt even flip open or have cameras...
but no, i digress, the reason this phone is high-tech is.... I HAS TEXTING! finally :3
but i'm not so good at it :( turns out due to my bad spelling, dyslexia, and generally bad type skills.... i need a keyboard to text anywhere near decently :'(
*shrugs* no big... the phone cost me $45 (well... technically was free.) so i'm not about to throw that away :)
had it two years running now? :)
