Just occurred to me that I've been a part of this furry thing for 11 years as of a few days ago. Kinda wild to not only remember how different I was back then, but how different everyone and everything was, too. I've seen a lot of people change for the better, and some for the worse unfortunately, but it's actually fascinating to think back to how things were back then.

Several years and 28 furcons later, I'm enjoying it more and more, getting to meet new folks in person and revisit older friends, though always for shorter times than I wish. And as funny as it can be to look back at all that, I'm more excited to look ahead. I'm happy to see so many of my friends starting to make more positive changes in their lives, and I look forward to seeing how they still continue to grow. :)

It was on May 18th 2001, but I forgot about it because of Diablo 3.. which it turns out I don't really enjoy afterall
