Rest in Peace, Brimstone.
A friend of mine from the old town I lived in less than two years ago, has unfortunately passed away. You may know him as
brim or
sandulf. He was a kind heart, a great cook, and wonderful friend. I was looking forward to seeing him sometime during RCFM in the coming years. After the recent passing of his dear sister, he became aware of a heart condition that, ultimately, took his life.
I am happy that he was able to consolidate things with his family before he left.
I am happy to have known him when I did.
I am happy to have been able to confide in him.
I am happy to have been able to have him confide in me (though it was not often needed).
I am happy he is now in a better place.
May the wind be at your back, and the sun's rays guide you on. I will drink to your life tonight.

And it's all true. May he rest in peace.
