~~~Photographers! QUESTION!~~~~
Okay so here's the scenario:
my mate and I just recently got our latest project BLuE done and as of right now, the tower resides in our living room connected to his 42-inch 720p TV. I have done some photo editing on it so far and color/contrast/display capabilities seem really really good for it. Off the side, I had just recently sold my samsung 24inch monitor with full-on 1920x1080p display which was great for photo editing but now that I sold it, I was curious on what to do with the money as far as display and my photography goes.
Part of me wants to use the money towards an even better samsung monitor ( the SAMSUNG B350 Series S27B350H to be exact: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ.....2E16824001551)
and the other part of me wants to use it to get an ipad2 which has an amazing display for pictures which I can showoff at home or on the go to people, it has photo editing software on there I can utilize whenever I want to and its easy to use, and my canon RAW files can be easily identified by it.
One side of me says that the samsung monitor would be great for photo edits and games but E's TV does a great job as is for that and in the future, he's gonna get it upgraded anyway to something thats 1080p and 120Hz anyways. Another side of me says that I wont even use the new samsung monitor that often anyways cause I only edit photos once in a great while so in my mind, it would just sit in my room and collect dust (which makes me sad :/)
With the ipad2 I still have photo editing capable in my hands, great display, convenient to carry around AND its still capable of doing other tablet-esque things while the samsung monitor would be there and used once in a while to look pretty lol
I know this sounds like a no-brainer sided battle, but maybe there's something I'm overlooking. I know you photographers would have some good insight for me to speculate on so I ask, which way should I go? the samsung 27inch spiffy monitor? or the easy and versatile ipad2 (I know theres a major price dif between the two, but I can get an ipad2 for a good price with my connections) what do y'all think?
Or glass. I love the smell of new lenses!
Anyway, I also think you should get another lens. You could get that 10-22 you want so badly!
