Happy furrets!

Well, last night I got a bunch of 3" PVC tubing. I stuck a length of tube in with them for a tunnel, though it seems only one of them uses it. lol. I took the rest and made a bit of a critter maze for them. I cut out a bunch of lengths and attached them to different joints, ands tuck it on the floor. During playtime they were very interested in what this strange monstrosity was... So I tossed in a couple treats. They eventually figured it out, and had a bit of fun. They're still not sure of this strange looking thing. But they're enjoying it more as they go along.
They're definitely settling into their new environment well. Blackpaw/Roscoe started to "dook" at me and bounce around chasing me through the room. It was pretty cute. Even Daisy/Pogo started to play a bit more. Roscoe got into quite the game of hide and chase with me.. It was exceedingly cute.
While my mate seems adamant not to call them by Daisy and Roscoe, I have learned not to fight against the fiancee. that's just a loosing battle right there. I don't think it matters what their names are, so long as they are loved... Apparently I am wrong, as I so often am.. Being male and all.
Overall, the pair of sagweasles are pretty happy. They're not too much in a tiff over the new location of the cage.. though Blackpaw/Roscoe and I seem to have a difference of opinion of where the litter pans belong. I believe they belong in the corners.. He thinks they should be in the middle of the pen, upside down. So I cheated and locked them down with some provided C-clamps (now I know why they were there. :P ). He argued back with a counter point of tossing the litter pellets. So now I'm somewhat satisfied, and the little litterpitcher is somewhat satisfied.
Well, keep in tune for more diaries of an insane fox, and a pair of hyperactive furrets. Next obstacle.... Bath and grooming time. o.o;
Wish me luck.

X3 The previous owners had named them that, and I so I hadn't changed it. It's kinna hard to see their names being changed, actually.
