honestly I thought it was ok until I couldn't access the drop down lists that connected to my watchlists, journals, etc. I finally accidently found the issue was due to my intenet's 'compatibility mode, which was screwing up the dropdown lists.

So that was an issue client-side rather than server-side, which isn't a reason to complain :B Others though...

I, for one, am pretty glad that they finally implemented the privacy update that I've seen on other sites for a while now and they told us about, what, a few weeks ago?

But that banner at the top is just really rather ugly, and misplaced. I mean, eventually the mind will just file it away cause it knows how to work around it, but should you even have to work around it in the first place? It's just sigh-worthy. :/

I admit the banner could be moved a little, maybe in a position that's less hugging the edges of the screen, but it's not really worth complaining about

I've been using the Beta version of FA for weeks now, if just because I A) liked it more, and B) wanted to get used to it before they changed it. It is better in every way. This is a fact that cannot be argued. But furries are more than welcome to do so anyway.

And if I wanted to be serious I could point out that they did fix that issue ages ago :V You can't go submitting multiple pictures at once anymore using tabs, you need to do them one at a time now, which isn't much worse than multiple users submitting content at the same time. But okay let's just be jerks then :B

Yeah it fine. I kinda liked it before they really "fixed" it from earlier (the messages area was like on a verticale axsis, and not in the way...seeming easier to select. But this is fine too.

The only thing I have a complaint about is that the 'hiding' from guests feature is quite fruitless when all a guest has to do is register an account which would take about 3 minutes.

True, but at least it can help prevent family or friends from accidently finding your Furry stuff unless they have an account anyway

It's pretty silly, maybe they need more drama in their lives yes? The biggest thing is that my laptop loads it sooo slooow, but this is 'minor' worst thing ever would be that it causes your laptop to pull a transformers and subsequently savage anything nearby, and even that it's a stretch, as that can be pretty neat... hmmm... I would call it Spot... or Spoticus depending on if it was distinguished.

I think it's ok. Though there are many more important things they could be working on, and definitely better UI changes than just moving everything to one bar at the top.

But that's just me.

The only logical argument I've been seeing is people saying that, "They could do better stuff than a UI change".

Only question is what could they be doing that they aren't/haven't already?

Well off the top of my head:

-A better search system (possibly with tags like IB or Aryion's does it)

-A better comment reply system (Personally it just bugs me when it just goes down and to the right ad nauseum)

-Some sort of filter system or at least fix the thumbnails again (I'm surprised people still complain about how horrid the subject matter is of the submission they just clicked on)

I'm sure there are a good many that I'm forgetting, and IIRC, there were many planned features that haven't been worked on in years that would definitely help the site.

- I think you mean a "Tag Cloud". FA Submissions already have tags, just many people don't bother to use them.

- I guess this could be useful? Though the way it is now makes it easier to tell when a comment is a reply compared to just a new, unrelated comment.

- I'll admit they did kinda break the thumbnail system with the new system they've implemented. That's pretty much the only actual issue I've run into though, which as long as you don't whine about the bad icky things you accident upon then you're pretty good anyway.

well, it wouldn't be a matter of my pc having a problem... it would be a matter of the site being poorly coded. Things weren't broken due to the condition or capacities of my laptop. They were broken because improperly tested code was implemented into the site I tried to access. Computers are stupid. They can only do what you tell them to do. And if you tell them to do something wrong, then that's what they do. So people are complaining about human error made by the administration of the website.

I mean, they've got a beta testing site now for these new features. If it worked there, then it should have been a simple, flawless roll-over. It wasn't. So somebody fucked up. And I fail to see why we don't have the right to complain about that sort of incompetence.

In regards to the roll-over thing, most Online Games have the same issues. Not everyone uses the Beta, in fact there's probably a minority that does, so sometimes when it comes to the feature being brought on to the masses, it starts to fuck up because it's getting overloaded.
