I'm convinced god(or whatever deity exists) hates me now.

Why?
Because two days ago, en route to portfolio night at my vocational school, a bug flies right into my eye, I freak for a split second as I try to get it out of my eye (FYI, I drive now). Suddely, I hear what sounds like a loud CRACK, and I look up, about to crash into a road sign. I swerved left and narrowly missed it, thankfully, but I found out I beaned a mailbox and completely lost the right side mirror.
Then when I get into the school the next day, I'm teased about said incident by my Autoshop teacher (Who's a really cool guy, but he is a bit of a jerk sometimes).
Oh, but the best part is that I found out my Great Grandmother just died that morning. Last time we went to see her, I fell asleep in the car and mom let me sleep (I was not driving this time). I missed going to see her and I didn't even get to say good-bye or anything.
Now I never will...

But I digress; in regards to the former incident all I can really say is that I'm thankful that it wasn't worse; and to remember that such accidents are going to happen when you're starting out; and it's probably far better that they happen with that sort of inseverity and in the present; so you can learn from them now rather than suffering the consequences later. Live and learn, right?
But I digress; while I offer my condolences I'm just happy you're reasonably safe and sound. Like my mum always told me; you should appreciate even the bad times in life; because it could always be worse. Personally I think that's a stupid way to look at things, seeing as they still happened and hurt; but sometimes it is the truth.
Just hang in there for me, okay? I'm sure karma; or whatever deity who's watching over you will smile upon you again soon.
Thanks for the words of consolation. I really needed that.
I know your feelings, I'd similar..."events" in the past, and I have only an advice:
now she's gone, and you can not do anything about it, so DO whatever else you can, you are alive and they could only want you to go on with your life
just remenber to be carefull when you eat mussels
I'm kinda super awkward at consoling people, but if you need someone to talk to, I'm around and I'll do my best to make you feel better. :c
I hope things turn around for you soon. x.x
