What Ive noticed is that some shows that seems to do quite well may end up going away. (from being cancelled to hitus).

There's been a few shows I liked but others didnt seem to care for it/them.

it seems like well written and interesting shows get cancelled.. "Dead like me" for instance. Meanwhile "Jersey Shore" keeps on chugging away..

Never seen it, to be honest. However, I will say that you shouldn't feel you may be part of the problem by watching it on Hulu, because Hulu is an official service, so it does count in the ratings, or at least someone's tracking those ratings, I'm assuming those get back to the producers and network executives. On-demand TV is where the money is these days.

Regardless, my new show this season has been renewed for another season, so I'm happy about that. (Once Upon a Time is my new show. Dunno if it's your kind of thing or not, but I love it.)

But I do see it welcome on SciFi (SyFy) or, since you're watching it on Hulu, as a subscription based version a la Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog.
