Guests of Honour Announcement!

MiDFur Here, and we've got some news for you!
Guests of Honour!
We're blown away by the amount of overseas interest for MiDFur in relation to the vast array of people who have agreed to be Guests of Honour at this con!
Often they express so much delight that they try to come back year after year, on their own time and out of their own pocket. Of course, this sometimes means that while our beloved GOHs would love to come back to us, life commitments mean that on some occasions they can't.
On this note, we regretfully announce that Tani DaReal and Nightfox will not be joining us at MiDFur 2012 in December. We sincerely thank Tani DaReal and Nightfox for the joining us at MiDFur the 13th, and can't wait to see them at the next available chance.
(We love you Tani and Nightfox!)
But all is not lost!
While we won't be seeing Tani in person, she has offered to create an awe-inspiring original artwork for all of us to witness over Livestream. This same artwork will be auctioned off at this year's Charity Auction. So never fear, Tani's presence will not be missing from MiDFur this year afterall!
Still more guests and boy, what a line-up!
Now, have you ever wondered how our fandom came to be? Who started it? When it happened? Is it really true that it all started as a room party at a Sci-Fi con?
Well, we might not be able to tell you, but our next Guest of Honour certainly can!
We are delighted beyond belief to announce that Steve Gallacci - That's right- Steve Gallacci, one of the Founding Fathers of the Furry Fandom himself will be attending MiDFur 2012: Furry Apocalypse Cometh.
This is the man who is often described as a great architect of our community. He has been here since the pre-Civilisation era. In the days of yore when Aliens were still building the pyramids, Steve Gallacci was there at the first furry room parties setting up what would eventually become the worldwide movement it is today.
MiDFur is deeply honoured to present Steve Gallacci as a Guest of Honour this year.
And last but not least...
MiDFur will be revealing a super special but super secret Guest of Honour. Our secret Guest of Honour comes to us from :
...well, if we told you, it would wreck everything. The world will crumble, civilisations will fall and it will be THE END.
(and it can't end until MiDFur sends it off in style)
The only way to find out who our extra special, extra secret Guest of Honour will be is to be at MiDFur 2012: Furry Apocalypse Cometh!
