I have no clue what these slots are
see previous journal post, they're commission slots. The daily special (But not required for a slot) is to get a full color peice (which earns you a free sketch) of your character turned into candy. or living candy.

I have a question. What if ill be heading out at this time and wont be able to watch the stream, can i still get a slot?
if you can trust me then yes you can still get a slot, i will push you to the end of the pile however in hopes that you might be able to make the stream. but i will get it finished this evening. send me a note as to what youd like.
