Every time I see a pic that involves monkeys, there are inevitably comments from people who "Don't normally like monkeys but..." or think that no one can ever draw a sexy monkey character and get surprised as hell when they see one drawn. I never even understood why people don't like them as much around here. The only reason I've heard was that they are "too close to human". Uh...? First off, you're human so that's just stupid. Second, there is a -very- small group that is actually related to humans at all. Those would be the Hominidae Family. Chimpanzees. Orangutans. Humans. Gorillas. Most people don't draw chimps and orangutans 'round these parts. And people find the Gorillas hot usually because they like those big fat daddy types with strong muscles, a cocky grin, and probably a cigar in their mouth. All the others couldn't possibly be sexy and yet...you're gettin' off on this picture of a monkey? Sometimes it's interestin' cause then they start likin' monkeys and try to find more. Other times they're surprised that there are primates around FA and that they are actually sexy. I dunno...just stuff I see a lot. /rant
