I wouldn't really know of any good way of attracting more watchers other than keep doing what you're doing. And maybe that free raffle thing.

As an artist myself constantly gaining watchers and fans, here's what I do...

1) No drama^ lol. People love nice people and artists who aren't pompous asses or attention whores.

2) Give free stuff away, in various ways...
2.1) If possible, announce streams (make a livestream account or other streaming service) by posting a journal and image saying you're streaming and doing requests. Can be something simple and quick, I often do just sketches in my freebie streams.
2.2) Post a requests journal. And if possible, a thread on the FAF forums under the black market sub-forum for artists giving thing away or looking for stuff. Can find projects there to do for people as well.
2.3) Raffles. I've had several and they proved successful. Post up some art prizes you'll do in exchange for people to pose their own journals linking to you and the contest. They get entered in the raffle which is determined by random number.

3) Lots and lots of porns.

4) Lots of porns of known and popular characters (sonic, falco, digimon, pokemon, etc)

5) Trades, lots of them. Also helps the other artist gain some exposure as well while they gain you some too.

6) Social participation. As in comment on pics and journals you see, and other things. People see someone active and notice your icon are bound to click on it and find you're an artist and may like your stuff. Just get your icon visible and out there.
