Well, I can suggest that you start playing again when MoP hits.

It's just farming bosses and collecting loot that you'll never need anymore once MoP goes live.

The heroic gear from DS will be good through 87 at least.

Heroic Gear ... don't know how US servers are, but on EU servers, you'll still need SERIOUS guilds to kill these bosses.

And even then ... the first quested items are sufficient enough to conquer MoP, so no reason to play 4 months for almost nothing.

Actually, you just need competent people. The only bosses that you need a serious guild for are Spine and Madness.

Well, that's the problem with EU servers - finding competent people.

Either you play on PvP servers and have 10-year-old r0ckz0rs or you play on PvE realm and have family-drama guilds. ^^

Or you play alliance and put up with ass-hats who are skilled but, you know, ass-hats.

I tried going back to it recently with the free level 80 from a scroll of resurrection. It still has lost its charm to me. However, if you have friends to play with then it is worth giving a try I think.

Get someone to revive your account, if you decide to start up again.
as above has mentioned, gives you a free 80, as well as 7 free days to see if you can actually get into it again.

How long have you been away? If it's been a while, can I send you scroll of resurrection?
