Conlanging

General
A hobby I've recently shown an interest in is conlanging. "Conlang" is short for "constructed language." Conlangs are languages created without the natural process of linguistic evolution that forms most of the languages that people speak across the world. They are made by conlangers like me for any of various reasons including efficiency in communication, developing fictional settings, artistic outlet, and many more. I've been working on a furry-oriented conlang, much like Primal, which I hope will end up having (Ahh! Nerdy stuff!):
-A "furry" sound
-A logical and consistent word order
-Specialization in furry or animal terms
-The ability to be read LTR, TTB, or RTL
-A visually attractive set of characters
-A character for each consonant and vowel sound (No multi-character consonants, compound consonants, monophthongs, diphthongs, etc.)
-No plurality (Hard to explain at this stage)
-A regular pattern in syllabic stress
-A regular pattern in word endings by part of speech
-The implementation of characters for sentential functions.
-Dozens of other things that I can't be bothered to include here...
After all, some of these things may no longer be intended as I construct this currently unnamed language.
Anyways, as Phyllis McGinley once said, a hobby a day keeps the doldrums away. In that case, don't forget about those fun, fun things. Good night to you all.
