I don't use condoms. That being said, I do how ever get tested every 6 months. And if I'm going to have sex with another guy, I'll only do it after I know he's clean.

Plain olde guess work! Most guys are average, once you played with your self a while you can get a reasonable idea of how big you are. Most Guys are no Long Dong Silver, as much as we all like to think we are hung like a horse we know better.

I took mediums and they seemed fine and so I have been using them. I once got some free ones, which were smaller kind and they did not seem to stay on so well, kind of trying to slip off or so. I imagine too large ones get stick in the "hole" and your body part comes out.

As for the guy in your example, I think it would be better for him to then start off with the small condoms and find out that he needs larger. It's better that you start off from a small stance and go to a larger one.

The package of condoms usually says how wide the penis has to be for the different sizes, I also tried out a few different ones from the store but I am myself unlucky (when it comes to buy them) And the normal ones wont fit so I have to order extra large ones from the internet.

Just go ahead and check for the sizes, in the end you can just buy a package and try them.

I bought the average size. I was a little put off at how small and tight they seemed. I asked myself if it was normal. I went back and bought the Magnum sized ones in the gold wrappers. They're a little snug, but much more comfortable. I guess it was a trial and error determination over a period of time.

Size is irrelevent in the condom. You can fit a normal sized fist in a "regular" size condom. Its a misconception that people need "magnums".


But kudos to making me feel really sorry and sad for a guy in such a situation.

No, really, you usually get an average size, and try it on. Most models will stretch out confortably, they are not an exact fit like clothes. If it gets too tigth or too lose, try the next size.

Well, man... I can't say much about that.
As a personal decision, I never ever wanted to use one. In first place, I'm a 100% (or so) virgin, in second place, I'm won't have sex with anyone I don't know well enough to know it's safe, and in third place, I might be allergic to that... I think.

There was a time I was playing around with one, my sister had made a balloon out of it, and my skin got some irritations, I got itchy on my arm, pretty much as similar as when some "dulce de leche" (what the--don't look at me, Google Translate said it's written like that) fell on my arm. Itchy red spots... So I'm not trying any condoms on unless it's extremely necessary.

Well, that my case, Hope no one has anything similar or worse, although there's always a worse case.

The best method that I’m aware of is still trying them on.
Start with the middle (average?) size and work from there. – They should be available in single packages most places.
The fit should be snug enough so as not to come off during sex (and defeating the purpose of it), but not so tight as restrict blood circulation – as always be sure to allow some space at the tip to serve as a reservoir – and, yes, it is recommended that once you find a size that feels correct that you test one privately to ensure the fit won’t leak.
