Okay, advice needed on two matters.
-Matter one-
Comic Con 08 cosplay:
I'm dressing up again this year. Instead of reusing my Organization XIII cloak or my Aperture Science costume, I'm going to make a new one. Problem is, I can't decide.
Aldebert Steiner (Final Fantasy IX)
or
Merchant (Resident Evil 4)
Pros and cons for each costume:
-Steiner: I can act his personality very well, all the way down to his signature running style. :P However, he wears armor, and armor is hard to make (just ask my buddy at school who goes to ren-fairs).
-Merchant: I can do his voice very well. Costume, after some review, is harder than you'd think. Also, it's been done (just watch Mega 64 [filmed in San Diego, btw]).
I need to know soon, because if I'm going to do Steiner, I need to start on the costume now.
-Matter two-
Prom:
I have a HORRRRRRRIBLE time talking to girls about romantic stuff, and Maddie came up to me and asked what I wanted to do before prom in order to get to know her more, she said we don't talk much (of course, because I feel awkward). Where should I take her?
And so that's what's bothering me.

Also, Gundam 00 is awesome. My friend turned me onto it when we were in Japan, and I liked it so much I bought 3 1:100 scale models. Lots of fun.
Also, going to Atlanta next week for another robotics world championship. That'll be..... fun...

FA+

Also, I lol @ u for having a hard time talking to girls. That's some funny stuff. :D
Christ, put the pitchforks away!
Anyway, don't feel you have to be all up in her grill romantically. Romantic comedies and romance novels have given the female gender an unreasonable expectation that you shouldn't try to live up to. I'd locate her interests and go with that, whether it's a movie, or checking out a comic book store, whatever. If all else fails, going out to eat's great for conversation, even if it's just fastfood. And afterwards, tell her there's a party in your pants, and she's invited. Then lay her down, and when you're done doing what comes naturally, make sure to ring the postcoital gong so all your friends know how awesome you are.
I would like some tips, yes.
:D I'm pretty close to a girl and we talked great when we were hanging. Hell, you were a fucking motormouth last time, and it was good because I didn't have a lot to say that day. >_>
