I'd say keep an eye on here, cause if there really are maggots, or if it looks even slightly worse, you should really take the poor thing to a vet before her injury cause serious damage. ; o;

We're a bit scared to. We've tried taking the kitten from the kennel to try to clean her, but she tries to attack. She may be too feral and the vet might just put her down due to being a "lost cause". We're probably going to try to take her to the Shelter around here, see if they can find out what to do with her. She's gorgeous though. :c Looks like a mix of tabby and calico.

Hm, yeah, she's probably fighting so hard cause she's scared and injured, poor thing... Maybe the vet could sedate her first, I'd say try calling a vet and asking about what they'd do for her, before trying a shelter. I don't know about where you live, but most shelters around me will just put a cat like that out of their misery before trying anything to help them, mostly cause they just feel like it's a waste of time and money. :/

Yeah, we still have her, I gave her a bath and that soothed her quite a bit. My older cat is obviously jealous and just being over affectionate towards me and being really silly. lol I looked up on how to treat her wounds so we don't have to worry about a vet bill. But she might need stitches for one of her wounds since its a large gash on her thigh. Though I hope the cool water from the bath numbed any pain she might be in from her wounds. After I bathed her, we just wrapped her in a towel and held her and she fell asleep. She's still asleep and she just sticks her rump at us when we try to get her attention. xD She's pretty sassy. We're not giving up on her yet. c:

Ah that's good, you could probably do the stitches yourself if you had the right equipment, but I don't think normal people are allowed to by anasthesia and animals have to be knocked out before you can do anything like that to them, unfortunately. > x<

Yeah, I wouldn't trust myself with doing that. :C Once we clean up her wounds, we'll take her in if they don't show a sign of healing.

Probably a good plan. Sounds like she's warming up to you too, especially if you were able to cuddler her up in a towel until she fell asleep, she's lucky to have your love and care~ ; u;
