My con was pretty meh. It started out good, had a rocky middle, and an alright finish.

I'd like to start by apologizing to anyone who was unable to sign up for the Pet Auction. I honestly have never had a turn out like that for sign ups! By the time I realized I only had a couple numbers left I had to tell everyone I was pretty much full :c
I couldn't see the size of the line from where I was filling out everyone's paperwork, and I'm really sorry to have disappointed so many of my potential pets! Next year I will make sure people know there are only 25 slots available and count them out ahead of time.

Secondly, apologies again, that the Fursuit Parade didn't extend all the way to the back of the Dealer's Den. That aisle in the middle was significantly wider, and seemed like a much better choice to have the parade route follow. I'm sorry it was communicated to dealer's so they could move to better see things.

Now on the con stuff. There was too much drama for my liking, as usual. Part of it my own involvement, but a lot more just crap people tried to drag me into. No megusta on both accounts. Sorry to anyone involved in stuff I was directly related to, and hope to mend those bridges again once some time has passed.

Saturday night I overworked myself, didn't eat until it was way too late, and worse didn't drink enough fluids. I then went out into the cold night with wet hair. Stupid panda. Now I have con crud.

The few highlights of my con:
Aside from the DD route mishap, I felt the fursuit parade went really well! Yes it's a bit short, but overall felt organized, and we got into the ballroom, and got the group photo done without much effort.
I bought  lucaswolfox at my own Pet Auction :P altho I was a bad owner and was too busy to really take care of him. Hopefully we can make that up later. He's a cool dude, and we don't hang out enough.
I fox-napped  fuchston and that was probably the highlight of my con. I took photos of him everywhere, and even got him an official registered con badge. Kartfox allowed me to continue holding him captive for a while so I can take more photos of his sordid adventures around So Cal.
Sunday night rounded out with the traditional pool party, and finally I got to enjoy myself, relax, and enjoy some times with friends.
Extra shout out to  xavier-woof for following me around on Saturday, helping me with various shit, and be extra crowd entertainment for the Cabaret.

I worked my butt off this year on staff, and I at least hope it showed.
I was really bummed tho I barely suited, and felt like I missed out on a lot of time to spend with friends. Ya'll will just have to fix this in person soon, or at my next con, which is RF in September.

That about wraps it up. I'm also looking for some new folks to possibly add to my staff for next year's Califur. I run the Fursuit department, and I'm looking for someone local who can make it to meetings in Garden Grove every other month or so. Send me a note if you're interested and I'll explain more!
